Triplex Building Rendering
LIVE HERE

Residential construction will begin in late 2006, after the remediation and cleanup of the site's non-historic mill buildings.

There will be several housing options to consider:

  • Artists'-style work-live lofts in the former Weaving Building
  • Stand-alone homes around the pond
  • Townhouses due west of the Norwalk River with some overlooking the waterfall
  • Loft units above retail and offices spaces in the center of the development

In all there will be 416 residential units.

In the interests of creating a walkable neighborhood, all buildings/areas will be connected by safe and attractive pedestrian trails (with alleyways behind the townhouses for cars).

The reopening of the Georgetown train station (with a new parking garage) on the Metro North Commuter Railroad will connect the new village center with Norwalk, Stamford, Greenwich and New York City's Grand Central Terminal. No one in the development will be more than a ten-minute walk from the train.
